Milwaukee pensions 100% funded

Bill Averill, 62, has retired from the City of Milwaukee assessor’s office and is collecting his pension. Milwaukee’s fund is consistently rated as one of the best-performing in the country.
A recent report from Wilshire Consulting found city and county pension funds in the U.S. have assets to cover only 69 percent of liabilities, but in Wisconsin Milwaukee’s funding level has hovered near or well above 100 percent for decades. The city’s system consistently ranks as one of the strongest in the country. This is how they do it.
Very interesting.
