Court Rules Insignias Allowed
Sacramento Firefighters wanted to wear their union logos on Class B uniform t-shirts, caps, and sweatshirts. The County allowed limited displays for a time, then clamped down and said they would punish any firefighter who wore union insignia while on the clock.
So the firefighters took the county to court.
And won.
This is a huge ruling as it means Sacramento Public Safety officials across the board have the right to display their union pride.
