Terror climate
The head of the NYPD’s sergeants unions says that the anti-police climate fostered by agencies like the Civilian Complaint Review Board and the left-wing, drive-by media is essentially greasing the wheels for another successful terrorist attack on US soil.
“New York City remains the number one target of terrorist threats in this country. We are slowly disarming the powers of the police. That’s what we’re doing,” said Ed Mullins, the president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, in an interview with the Advance Monday. “That’s the climate of the city. If you start seeing terrorist action here in New York, they’ll all be sitting here begging the cops to come out and toss people and stop people,” Mullins said. “You’re weakening the police department a bit over time, you’re going to see events. You’re going to see events, and sadly I just think there’s gonna be a bad one.”
