Payroll software nightmare
Back in the “You’ve got mail!” days, pretty much everyone believed that computers and automation were going to make it possible for us to make more money, work less and all the rest of it. But like everything else that sounds too good to be true, the promise of brighter, computerized tomorrow was little more than a slick sales pitch to move product. Cops are spending their time trying figure the system out instead of doing police work and some guys are getting paychecks covering two week periods for $2 dollars. In other words it’s a real mess and Dave Titus, St. Paul Police Federation president says the issues need to be addressed and quickly.
