Money cops asleep on the job
What’s so shocking to most folks that know a thing or two about pensions, defined benefit retirement insurance and “financial services,” is not that the ultra rich are having so much success robbing the working man blind without using a gun. And it’s not the fact that many pensioners, like police officers for instance, are politically aligned with the thieves as opposed to their fellow members and other employees.
No- what’s truly shocking is the fact that almost no one seems to notice or care. For some watching the upward transfer of money from the working to the executive class is a little like watching a strong-arm robbery in the middle of a crowded restaurant’s lunch rush where no one stops eating or even looks up from their phone. They just hand over the money without saying a word.
