Another Ambush Attack!
By John Rivera
Last night, two of our brave brothers were viciously ambushed simply for doing their job. After talking to fellow officers at Jackson’s trauma center, it was clear that our brethren officers are alive because of only two reasons: most importantly, because God was by their side, and also because their survival training and instincts kicked in.
As you go and do your jobs nobly, please heed my plea to ALWAYS wait for your back-up to arrive. We continue to work short-handed, and if you continue to do the job without resources, they will make sure you remain doing so. If calls hold, they hold. Please take care of one another and make sure you take care of yourself as well. There is nothing more important about this job than to have the ability to go home at the end of your shift.
God bless each one of you, and thank you for doing what you do. Stay safe.
