CSLEA is Newest Member of PubSecAlliance
The California Statewide Law Enforcement Association (CSLEA) considers themselves “America’s most fascinating law enforcement association.” And for good reason.
CSLEA Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Local Lodge 77 was established February 18, 2015 with a unanimous vote by the CSLEA Board of Directors and is one of the largest single-association FOP lodges in California. In addition, the CSLEA just became an official member of PubSecAlliance.
CSLEA’s represents 7,000 members in 180 different job classifications in state government. To best meet their specific and varied needs, CSLEA members are assigned to one of 18 affiliate associations within the association based on their job classifications.
Members receive legal representation, basic life insurance, access to CLEA insurance programs, exclusive member discounts, several scholarship opportunities, and membership to the National Fraternal Order of Police.
Alan Barcelona serves as the president of the organization. In addition to his duties as president of CSLEA, Alan is also a Special Agent for the California Department of Justice. Prior to becoming a DOJ agent, he was a Senior Investigator for the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Barcelona’s tenure as the leader of CSLEA has transformed the organization into a solvent, cohesive organization with a mission and purpose that have earned it the respect of governors and lawmakers in Sacramento.
The group has made a mark with a series of videos they produced in their own studios. Here are just a few:
CSLEA represents Special Agents, Alcoholic Beverage Control Agents, Criminalists, Fish and Wildlife Wardens, State Park Rangers, Firefighters and Deputy State Fire Marshals, Hospital police officers, investigators, inspectors, and 911 dispatchers across the state of California.
