A lot people despise politicians, but rarely do any of them have the opportunity to tell those elected officials what they really think about them (except maybe at the polls).
Not so for members of the International Association of Firefighters, who had guts to tell Texas Senator Ted Cruz what they really thought of his views on tax reform—and they did it without saying a word.
Invited to speak at association’s bipartisan presidential summit, Cruz was surprised to receive an ice-cold reception of total silence from the audience. Looks like his standard “red meat” lines don’t work on everyone.
